Star Wars Legion Commission Separatists

I'm doing a commission for a good friend. Here are the steps I've taken along the way:

Aquas

Here are the colors used for these models:

• Blue - Caribbean ocean x2 speed paint medium x3
• Gray - Celestra gray no shade
• Metallic: 1 drop silver 3 drops steel
• Black: Vallejo German Gray, oblivion black wash, cold corpse blue light layers
• Eyes: spiritstone red

B1's

• Desert yellow base coat
• 1:1 skeleton horde contrast diluted with contrast medium
• drybrush skeleton bone

• Vallejo metal color Steel base coat with airbrush
• German grey for black
• Oblivion black wash for black
• Oblivion black wash diluted 2:1 with medium for steel
• Dry brush steel over entire model VERY LIGHTLY
• Thin wash later for circles on shoulders after dry brush
• Sanguine scarlet for leader belly
• Bold pyrrole red for highlight there
• Vallejo dark blue for blue belly
• Adriatic Blue for highlight
• Spiritstone red for red dot
• Soulstone blue for blue dot
• GWS fluorescent red and blue on dots, highlight dot

BX Battle Droids

• 2:3 ratio dark aluminum and luxion purple airbrushed for base coat (8:12 for airbrush)
• Metal color copper for bronze components
• Black for guns
• Wolf grey for gun dry brush
• Bold titanium white for binoculars
• Apothecary white for contrast on binoculars
• Aluminum for sword edge
• Chrome for edge sword
• Black on sword handle, round part of blade
• copper on edges of round parts of blade
• dark reaper on light edges of black parts of blade

Droideka's

• Base coat Vallejo metal color steel

Light Saber Handle Recipe

• Dark aluminum base coat
• Obsidian Black wash
• Dark aluminum highlight all edges
• Model air chrome light reflections
• Black panel liner the base sections, wick off excess

STAAP

• X1 drops light rust, X2 drops medium rust, X4 drops tuskgor fur
• drybrush mixture of light rust for highlights
• dark aluminum for metallics

Wheelbikes

• Metal color silver base coat
• X3 drops light bronze, X2 drop steel, X2 drop copper
• metal color steel differing panels for contrast
• black handles
• wash with panel liner, nuln oil
• light drybrush with chrome for shine
• pro acryl white gold the flat panels for contrast
